BTW, I just measured up a Leica IIIc: it comes out a bit bigger than the Fuji - 13.5 cm x 6.9 x 6.1 with a, albeit a Canon. But it also had a very slick 50mm lens that collapsed into the body when not in use, reducing it to about 3 cm. It's pretty heavy by today's standards - even heavier than my old OM-2 and easily twice as much as my Coolpix P5000.
Street photography is one of the applications I'm looking forward to my G12 for - with the fold-out twisty LCD I'll be able to sneak shots from waist-level.
