Ricoh The Ricoh GR image thread

Wonderful shot ... one day I should try this camera out for something other than gritty street shots :)

It's an awesome allrounder i think, recently bought an Nikon d7100, and now my wife shoots with the GR, this shot was taken by her, she never held a camera since last week! :)

I'll be moving towards more environmental imagery as the spring and summer go on. I do all my PP work in Lightroom 5. Sometimes I use the VSCO film actions. The only one I use to be honest is E100G - - which is a substitute for Kodak Ektar film. I do other stuff I could teach anyone in 10 minutes tops. For instance isolating the subject with a oval shape in Lightroom and slightly lowering the exposure on the rest of the image outside that oval. This brings more attention to the subject.

Thanks for the info. I'm using LR5 as well. I'll have to try this out. Don't have the VSCO film packs, so I'll have to play around a bit with me sliders.

From providence Rhode Island.

She did a great job for her first effort !!

My wife also is into photography but won't use anything but the 18-200 VR2 ... she just loves it ... and she's never even heard of Ken Rockwell :D
