B&W Black & White, monotone and sepia

Andy, I'm going to accept your use of the word "rubbish" would not be the same way I'd use use it.

I think this may well be my favorite photograph ever of yours! Excellent, Andy - love the turmoil above and below and the darkness that divides it - and that wild vanishing point!

Gosh!! Thanks BB. I do like the clouds. If you look closely they do all sorts of weird things. This is a good time of year for weird clouds in the UK.

Yup, Andy, I definitely noticed the unusual cloud formations - very cool.

Peter - so dramatic, it is great in B&W. I'm going to have to check out your Flickrstream to see the color version and compare.

pdh, I think you're on a minimalist tear - even with that scifi sized caterpillar.;)

I don't speak Spanish, but can read the signs and enjoy them as well. There's something much more interesting to me about them here in your photos, Antonio, than they'd be in one of my own. I put that down to the your subject matter and the romance language.(y)

Have had the pleasure of visiting Puerto Rico twice - once when I was about 12 or so...loved the scuba diving the most....and then I won a trip once through my work place's contest and that was the year before I married my husband, I believe, which was...about 22 years ago. I'd love to go back - and meet up with you, Antonio. Too bad I don't think we can make it this summer, Javier. To go and know people there would make it a trip a thousand times better than my other two visits, both of which were great fun.

Thank you, Javier and BB.

To be honest, sometimes I feel like I am not the best ambassador for Puerto Rico with my photography, in that I tend to photograph what I find interesting, which often times is not what most people would find beautiful. Believe me, there is a lot of beauty in Puerto Rico that I have not shown in my photos.

Javier, although I would hate to impinge on your vacation, if you do come to Puerto Rico my wife and I would be glad to take you and your wife to dinner one evening. Please let me know.

BB, I believe its due time for you and your husband to visit our lovely island again.

Cheers,

Antonio

Thanks Antonio.
I will take you up on that. I have been their one time before in 2002 on a business trip and did not see much. This time, I will see and photograph much :)

ricks, when I click on your photo I'm very glad I did because the quality makes me think I'm looking at a black and white print - lovely soft light that you captured on this somewhat more up-to-date Huck Finn kind of raft. I like your title, too.
