It's nearly time for Single in January 2016 - expressions of interest here, please!

I'm in. Since I'm usually such a wide angle junkie, my choice will be either my samsung EX1, or my very humble Ricoh PX underwater camera, at full zoom.

Just something to think about: I'm not sure everyone will realise what we're going on about purely from the title of the thread - it's only transparent for the already initiated, so to speak. I don't feel entitled to start off the real "Single in January" thread, but I think it'd be a good idea to have one which is immediately identifiable. Or is it too early for that?

I think it's too early for that, per se - but I am amending the title of this one to make it a bit clearer

By the way, just to get "warmed up", I've started trying to take a picture a day in the run-up to Christmas. It means a "rolling start" in January, which should - in theory - be easier!
I'll probably join in. Not sure if I'll use the same camera and lens as planned for the SiJ, though, because there should be a couple for very fine days ahead that I want to use extensively - actually, if everything works out as planned, shooting will be my top priority from Saturday through Tuesday :)

And Bill: Thanks for soothing my worries - I just want the crew to be a wee bit bigger, too ...

Well, I guess I should ease back into the picture taking seen. (Never completely quit). So, I'm in again. And, because we have recently moved back to Alaska, I should be able to pick off 31 shots, somewhere around here. We're only 1/2 mile from the waters and beach of Cook Inlet, and the Kenai River is only a couple of blocks too.
I only have the Panasonic G1. I've been using it with the OM 50mm. But, I also have the Panny 20mm. I think the 20mm will be my primary, but this year, I may also use the 50mm from time to time. (my rule. I can break it, ...or not!) :shakehead:

I'm looking forward to those shots - good to have you on board :)

Sounds fun. I think I'll give it a go. I'll probably use my trusty old E-M5 plus either the little Panasonic 12-32 (but I feel it's sort of cheating to use a zoom), or the Oly 17/1.8. Will there be a page setup for each day?

Same decision here. Em5 II but deciding between 12-32 and O17. Tempted by the prime because I'll be doing a quite a few of these shots when it's dark.

We'll do it as wedid before. I'll have to refresh my fading memory but I think we did a thread a day.
