Fuji The Everything Other Than Street X100 Image Thread.

Armando, as a fellow Houstonian....I'm surprised there isn't a stout chain attaching the bikes to the nearest metal pole!

Nice photo! At first I thought the X100 only shot in black-and-white....good to see what it can do in color.

LOL! I was riding along the Bayou along Allen Parkway. It was a nice day, and generally, it appears fairly safe. In any event, I'm sure my girlfriend would have fended off any would be bike thiefs! :)

As for color vs. black & white, I do the B&W photos. I like color.

1/25000 @ f/8 ISO 64000

Yes, my friends ISO 64000 because I'd just come out of a darkened auditorium and forgotten to switch the ISO! But it still worked.;)

WOW, that's some impressive X100 you got there BB!

My X100's fastest shutter speed is 1/4000 and the top ISO is 12800. Did you get the X1000? :)

All kidding aside, it's a great photo. K is thinking ... "I need to get a job now ... Mum is cutting me off ..."

:D OK, so by accident I added an extra zero - mea culpa - and the same on the shutter speed! Seriously, it was a typo but ISO 6400 is what I meant and it's pretty darn impressive with just two zeros, isn't it? Here is a link to the EXIF info: Exif | 5-11-205-Edit-2.jpg | Flickr - Photo Sharing! just to keep me honest.;)

I'm going to go edit my mistakes now!

This is a prime example of multitasking. I beg your collective forgiveness.

Thanks!

@Jono - the bike is a WHOLE lot cheaper than the M9 (thankfully)!! 2010 Specialized Roubaix Elite with SRAM Apex components. It looks more expensive than it is. The frame was the top of line Specialized frame in 2009, but they trickled it down to the entry level model in 2010. They did the same thing with 2011..

Okay Armando - I'll let you off - i searched on the SL2, and came up with £4500 - I've now searched properly, and come up with £1600 - a bit more reasonable!

sorry chaps - definitely:eek:fftopic:

Well, as it's still here:rolleyes:, I took some snaps today on the way to work:

all the best

Wonderful light and it's perfect in B&W.

So let me be clear...you were set up to shoot RAW only but hit the RAW button and it gave you a jpeg or you were shooting RAW + Jpeg and used the RAW button but it only gave you jpeg?

Thanks for the comments. I was in RAW+LF. When you hit the RAW button it sets you to just LF. I just tried it with only RAW selected. When in that setting pushing the RAW button changes you to LF. Interesting, tain't it.
