Hall of Famer
Nice additions, well shot guys.
Wow!!!
Peter, I believe you have just captured my idea of heaven. What a place! I know you've taken many photographs of these pools...and I'm always falling into rapturous states... It's happened again.
May I ask if this particular image has any special post processing going on? By special, I guess I mean did you do something different...is there an HDR component?
Thanks BB. This is the first shot from the series, but I expect you noticed it on flickr. I think I missed it slighly on composition with the placement of the bollard at the front. I should have moved to the right by about a metre. Non-the-less, most seem to pick it as their favourite of the set in other forums in which I have placed it...
Bronte Pool 1 - Ghosts of Pre-Dawn Swimmers by peterb666, on Flickr
There are a few people who have dived in, but none stayed for very long.
The Coogee Pool shot to which you have added some comments in flickr and is also on the previous page in this thread was interesting. It was taken during a very small 'windoiw' of dry weather in a foul, cold and windy storm. Despite that, the occassional person decided to go for a dip in the water. Bad weather results in some of the best sunrise shots so makes up for the discomfort.
