I picked this lens up yesterday for $30, I haven't had a lot of time to play with it, but I think I'm going to like it.

Quick shots, taken with a monopod in low light to demonstrate DOF. I'll have to get used to focusing this lens, these old eyes don't work as well as they did 40 years ago when I started out in this hobby.

$30, well done! Ok, cliche time - mine has razor thin dof at F1.4, is bitingly sharp at F2, renders pleasingly different to my 'modern' lenses and is fantastic on my X-T1. I just haven't tried it zone focusing as that seems a bit awkward with the adapter which makes the lens set up physically quite long (for me anyway). A fun lens to use though.

I've been looking for this lens on ebay for a while now, it's hard to find a nice copy under $100. I saw one the other day, attached to a nice Pentax Spotmatic with a $30 buy it now price. The seller knew nothing about cameras, but the pictures looked good, so I took a chance. It showed up yesterday, looks better in person than in the pictures. The camera even has a roll of film in it, six exposures have been taken. I'm going to finish the roll and see what develops.
