That was shot at f/8, the picture is not cropped so I was quite close to what is a smallish flower, say 1.5" across.

Dug out the Leica X1 for a change, it was raining and windy which is why these 'guy's are huddled together.

I've never seen Aloe Vera flowers, either! Very cool, Dave. The climate out there is so different from this side of the states.

We do have other kinds of flowers, but I've been obsessing over there and the gazing globe in their midst. Taken with the Fuji X100 in macro mode.

i have never seen aloe vera flower either although we have some outside our house.
