Great read with equally well done images.
The year of images you chose for this really hits home for me. When the X-Pro2 was first released, C1 didn't play as well with it's files as it should have. In a case of terrible timing. I was trying out the transition from primes to zooms. The 16-55 especially had really started to click with me. But when I changed from the X-T1 to the Pro2, my images were not looking the way that I thought they should. Instead of realizing it was an issue with C1, I blamed the zooms and went back to primes. Only then to learn that there was an issue with C1 and Pro2 files. So, I switched back to the zooms. It was, as Kyle out it, becoming like a soap opera. 2016 was the year I discovered gear whoring is one of my super powers. Having swapped back and forth with no out of pocket spending.
