Fuji Showcase X10 Sample Images

Pulled from the archives. A great little camera for what it was.

One of the best compacts for close-up shots, IMHO. Almost worth getting one again just for that (if I didn't have an LX100 which is pretty good too!)

I was really interested in the LX100 series...but I have a hang up with powered zooms. My local shop has a used X30, which sort of interests me...but that X10 was so good, if I went back that direction I might snag a used X10 or X20 instead.

The LX100 didn't work for me either. I've just acquired a used X30 (for a second time) - no other compact or small mirrorless kit has come close to equalling the way it operates, IMO. The small sensor has its downsides, but it's a terrific everyday carry camera.

Ok...so I had a chance to use a Fuji X100F for a bit. Friend has one. I no longer have an interest in the X10/X20/X30 series of cameras.

The X100F AF is right up there were I need it to be. My other issue was with interchangeable lenses, which would lead me to really want an XPro2. However, having had a chance to look at the in camera teleconverter on the X100F....has me darn near sold on it. Having 28mm/50mm/70mm natively is great...then the benefit of adding the physical tele adapter for even longer lengths makes the "have it with you everywhere" X100F even more palatable for me.

It's been a while since I owned one, but the X10 was a little wonder. My normal zoom compact now is the Leica D-lux 109. Unless I upgrade to the D-lux 7 I see no reason not to keep it, but I don't think I've had a compact normal zoom camera I've liked as well since I had an X10. I liked the X20 but thought the jpegs didn't quite cut the mustard.
