Fuji Fujifilm introduces the zoom cinema lenses “Premista” Series.

A true cinema lens has much better build quality than a typical photo lens. Cinema lenses are manual focus with extremely smooth focus mechanisms and very precise focus control. They also stay focused when zooming in or out. The zoom is always internal. The aperture is in T stops instead of F stops. The T stops are supposed to be more accurate. The iris rings are click less. The glass is normally exceptional.

The Fuji cine lenses are actually very cheap for cine lenses. Cinema lenses can run up to $100k.

My standard 'splainer video

* Manual focus, long-throw, teeth for focus-pull
* T-Stops - constant/consistent between lenses
* Focus breathing minimised
* Often similarly sized across a family for filter-threads, gearing, hoods etc to minimise rig adjustment everytime you swap lenses
