While sorting out some books for a lady friend, I came across this receipt for my first 35mm SLR an EXA 11B.
It had an extensive shutter speed range of 1/2 to 1/250! I would think the lens was a 50mm.

Back then receipts required a 2D stamp to render the receipt legal! The EXA 11 took the photo

Those were the days my friends! way before STD phone dialling.

Is that price 25 Pounds? I see there are currently two on eBay UK for $28 and $51 USD. They've held their value! ;)
Tony, Yes it’s £25, which was probably two weeks wages.

Luke, the Komaflex was well made, can’t be sure but I might a have paid £15 for it, but not sure! (y)

Hand written receipts, and legibly too. Those days were already on the decline when I was old enough to pay for most of my disposable income items. Love seeing that plus telephone number exchanges that you only read about nowadays.
