{B&W} The Gravestones of St Bartholomew’s, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, UK - UK2016-93 by Andrew Priest, on Flickr
St Bartholomew's Church is a parish church of the Church of England Diocese of Truro in Lostwithiel, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The church itself is mainly 14th century.
It was interesting to see the headstones leaning up against the wall of the church and the fence. I assume that the graveyard land has been reclaimed for a new purpose.
Although it's not random, that last one reminded me of this which I took in a Normandy cemetery a few years ago. I thought that the plaque for 65 years after D-day was very poignant.

What caught my attention with this gravestone in the Roman Catholic Lawn B at Fremantle Cemetery is that the burial is of two brothers, Frank and Paul Lo Presti. Frank passed away in 1950 and Paul in 2007.
The Lo Presti name is well known in the Fremantle area with the Lo Presti & Sons grocery store in East Fremantle which was founded by Frank Lo Presti in 1932. That said I don’t believe that Frank and Paul are from this branch of the family.
