A tiny male Indigo Bunting has been coming to our feeders the past couple of days. I don't have a proper telephoto lens, so here's the X30 at maximum range and cropped.

A few more recent visitors. Several Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, which we don't recall seeing here before. I think the small brown bird with orange on its flanks is an immature female Eastern Towhee, another bird we haven't seen before.
I've never really shot birds, ever but i do remember taking this of a gull that kept circling overhead when i was walking along the beach a while back..
I wonder if I was near a nest, as this Scarlet Tanager was tweeting away at me, hopping from branch to branch literally just a few feet away. All I had was the Pen F with the old Pen F 38/1.8 MF lens. I feel fortunate to have been able to get this.
