Another tractor to go with the three I posted the other day

Saw this on the way back on my ride this morning. It really makes me mad the way people just dump stuff in lay-byes and ditches.

Yeah, I despise people who just drop their trash for others to deal with. Your trash, your responsibility, you deal with it. Although I have been known to haul other's trash out of scenic spots while hiking or hunting photos.

Tough choice today, but I'll go B&W here and something in color there.

I like your official color version quite a lot, David, but --- truth be told --- I like this particular monochrome even better. The tones and textures - and overall combination of simple + complex content inside the frame - not to mention your seriously cool processing .... I love this image.

Picture Mode: Monochrome Profile Green -2 with a little reduction in highlights (-2) in Olympus Workspace, export to 16bit Tiff. Next the default preset "Medium Contrast Curve" and preset "Punch".

Day 11 Outtakes: Old Cabin in the garden

Took photos today inside an ancient (19th century) cabin that sits on our rural property, it is defying the laws of gravity and still upright, somehow. With the bright Spring light angling in via the front doorway - and the combination of 150-year-old wallpaper peeling from ancient wood walls, and a bit more light filtering through roof cracks - it seemed long overdue for a few photos.

Here, next to the open front door, another doorway looks into a darkened room--

The 19th century wallpaper must have been made to higher standards, to last this long--

Stepping through the doorway you can see the afternoon light coming through the roof (which is badly in need of some rudimentary repairs, to keep the cabin standing for another year or three)--

The well-used wheelbarrow, leaning against a wall outside, does not date back to the 19th Century...it's a relative newcomer--
