Challenge! Cameraderie Photo Challenge #32 ZigZag - Winner announced!

Hall of Famer
Start Date
May 16, 2020
End Date
Jun 5, 2020
This Cameraderie 32nd challenge theme is: zigzag

Recipes for good photograph are many: light, color, point of view, field of depth etc. But this time the challenge is to find pattern or shape of zigzag. Challenge yourself, keep your eyes open and share with us your zigzag. And have fun and be safe!

--------
The tried and trusted rules are as follows:

1. Either take pictures that match the nominated theme or select some from your portfolio. You must be the photographer that created the images in order to enter it.

2. Only one entry per challenge, please. If you want to withdraw an entry and replace it with another, that is OK, but you must make it clear in the post containing your replacement pictures that this is what you've done. You can add or change the title and add to the edit line to let everyone know.

3. The decision of the curator at the end of the challenge is final - don't give him/her a hard time about it: this is just a friendly photo-challenge, after all!

4. The winner will assume the responsibility of curator for the next Challenge, and as soon as possible post a message in a new thread in the Cameraderie Photo Challenges forum, with details of the new theme. Don't forget - that opening message must include a copy of these instructions, which also double as the rules.

5. The curator cannot enter his or her own challenge.

Could be J-3, straight out of camera. Also non-competing :cautious:. Paris shop window of a chocolatier, somewhere around Rue Faubourg St Honoré.
Great to see how this trace forms its own layer in the picture.
This picture is hors-concours.

Nice. Someday I hope to be able to take this picture.
It's really mass. Big numbers. I mean, when I got my M8 in 2007 I took about 7.000 pictures a year, with the M240 after 2014 which is a bit clumsier it is about 3.000. That mass, looking at each picture in Capture One, critically, helped me to increase my skills. It takes hours of learning. Before I had a digital camera I took less than 2.000 pictures in thirty years, no real feedback like a direct comparison on screen and so they tended to look alike and my style did not evolve.
