Daily Challenge Day to Day 46

I've started applying the finish to the baritone ukulele top. Sometimes the finish goes on smoothly without any issues; more often, the first coats of shellac reveal previously unexpected surprises, like a couple of tiny dings in the Cedar top that were previously invisible, or the finish drying unevenly. I'll give this morning's coat a few hours to dry, then sand it back and go again.

D'you know ... I just couldn't find anything worth your while to say about 46? So, without further ado ... let's keep it up.

For the truly musically esoteric, there is an old (late 90's) song by Tool, with a few veiled references to chromsomes, to evolution and, buried somewhere in the subtexts, the nature of human identity.

Had to walk downtown to the Post Office today to mail a package; en route I noticed that someone had brought out their semi-ancient-but-still-colorful old camper trailer, and parked it on the street, in all its archaic glory.

And, yes (confession follows): I'm fascinated by ancient camper-trailers.

Hi Steve, help me out a little so I can join you laughing. I just can't find what "Turley" refers to in any online dictionary ... and the website beginning with G is no help either. Just leads me to Turley Barracks in Mannheim, Germany. :hmmm:

^ This has happened before - message whithin a quotation. Is that automatic or just a slip-up? I've seen it on my own personal messages, too ...

Could the reason be because I deleted the quote in brackets?
Sometimes it takes me several attempts to get my answer outside the message I refer to and I still don't know why.

Wow, I just tried more than five times to get it outside ... even without deleting the quote, no chance. :hmmm:

Try writing outside the quote tags ... I'm not sure what's happening, I just want to make sure it's not the forum software causing this ...

M.
I click reply and start writing one line under the quote and this is what happened ... but not this time.
Wow, this is really strange. Did the same thing as always and now it's outside.
