Cine-Kodak Special 16mm - marked with US Army Signal Corps acceptance stamps.
The Signal Photographic Companies brought these with them during the invasion of North Africa.
They quickly found the camera was not robust enough for a harsh military life and it was replaced with the B&H Eyemo 35mm.
But George Stevens and the men of the Special Coverage Unit (SPECOU) used the Cine-Kodak to shoot Kodachrome color film from "D-Day to Berlin"

That Rollei 35 is a true classic!

Did you know that it was designed by Heinz Waaske, the guy who designed the Edixa?

His original Edixa design was reiterated in eighty (80) different Edixa camera models!

The Rollei design was based on drawings he made while still employed by Wirgin, but this company could not compete with the Japanese, and had to fold.
