I shot these with the Leica CL w/ the Elmarit TL 18mm 1:2.8 some were cropped and all developed in B&W using the Analog Efex Pro 2 from the NIK collection.

Good Morning Manuel,
That's a really nice set. I hope you enjoyed your solitary walk!
I love that 18mm f/2.8 - mine lives on my TL2.

With respect, have a look at your clouds. On my screen it looks like there's only 3 or 4 grey tones and so they look 'blocky'.
Stay Safe.

Thanks for the kind words. The walk is always (well, almost always) enjoyable. At any rate, I must walk to keep my aging body from deteriorating, keeping entropy at bay so to speak :).

I totally get your comment on the look of the clouds. In my screen is not quite so noticeable, but you know, I'm not that skilled at manipulating discrete sections of images. I definitely took artistic license using the Analog Efex Pro 2 because I wanted the images to have more "punch" and I don't like to overuse the HDR type of effect...The trade off of the clouds vs the objects is the price.

Nice pictures. Boy, do I want this camera, though with the 23mm that fits my way of seeing it would be too much. About the clouds. A slight burn in Photoshop of the "shadows" only in the sky would increase the local contrast in the sky only, leaving the rest of the look the same. Only if that's what you're after though. One of the things I love about photoshop as against the years I spend working in commercial professional analog darkrooms, is that you can dodge and burn the highlights, midtones, and shadows separately, which can really solve a lot of local issues and get you closer to what you "saw and felt" when shooting.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the price of the lenses is a big obstacle. They are phenomenally good and I wish I could buy the 23mm and others as well. For now I use the Elmarit 28mm manual, it's a great lens in this body, but not having the auto focus is a big loss.
I'm sure your advice re: Photoshop is spot on, lamentably I never was able to use photoshop. My post processing is limited to LR and some add-on suites. Perhaps one day I'll get some hands on training and learn Photoshop.
