I finally got the square hood for my Fuji 16/1.4. Normally these retail for about £70 but I spotted a like new 2nd hand one at Harrisons Camera for £20 and jumped at it.
That's right, I remember observing how the hood was missing from the box. We don't see a lot of that lens here atm which is a shame.I finally got the square hood for my Fuji 16/1.4. It is one of my favorite portrait lenses. And nearly $1000 cheaper than the f1.A great lens. Small and light and sharp.
I thought you had one Bobby?Stumbled across one of these in like new condition for $275. So I pulled the trigger even though I wasn’t actually looking. I’ve done some really good work with this lens in the past so that’s my justification along with the very low price

I sold it and the other Fujicrons in January to get a 16-55 when I had started to do in home headshots. Which was taking off well. Then all of the COVID lockdowns happened and killed that business dead in its tracks. So I sold the 16-55 and went back to primes. This completes getting back all of the fujicrons.I thought you had one Bobby?
I’ve lost track of you and your gear before, but it looks like you only keep what you have use for in that moment. And I have to say: no matter what gear you have, you put them to great use with a very distinctive own style. Just curious. Do you "debrand" your bodies to make them less obvious? Also, what do those lens tubes do?I recently purchased the Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 FE lens for my Sony kit! That means something is going to be sold soon to finance it!
Sony A9 + Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 and Sony A7III + Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6:

Pictures or it didn't happen! :roflmao:An EF 50mm 1.4 to compare to the EF 50mm 1.8 STM.
A modest increase in $ and hopefully a slightly larger increase in performance.
Arriving today.
XT3 benefits:I've been pondering getting an X-T2 or -3. The 3 has about a $300 premium over the 2 on the used market. I'm not really a video guy, and I don't shoot sports or wildlife. Is there anything else about the 3 I'm missing?
