Fuji New Fuji camera?

Same size of EM5 III plus the grip:
Compare camera dimensions side by side
Maybe they want to attract the Oly users:)

Smaller IBIS might not be as effective as XT4...
I’m sure they are going after Olympus users. There is bound to be some migration away from mu43 and Fuji is a definite option. The biggest potential barrier is how they feel about the X Trans sensor look.

Let me add that I certainly don't think going after mu43 users is their only goal. I think the control design implies they are going after everyone who is looking into APS-C as an option. I think some Fuji users often forget that lots of modern photographers like the control wheel configuration and Fuji would be more than happy to take their money as well.

X-S10, if so configurable, does appeal to me in one way as opposed to other Fuji X series of cameras:

In M mode supposedly the two unlabeled dials can be set to ISO and shutter speed. Something like Leica SL doesn't allow this (literally a dealbreaker 😎) but Fuji probably does.

So far so good. Now how this schema differs from the previous models is how the shutter speed dial could in theory operate in full stops, half stops, third stops.

Blammo, immediately a nicer interface to full manual shooters than what any X-Pro or X-T camera has previously offered.

I would still prefer to see the original direct dials but with the shutter speed having clicky third stops.

My X-T2 does have that ability, of a sort. After selecting a SS with the lockable dial, one can tweak the SS two clicks in either direction using the thumb wheel. The amount of increase/decrease per click is based on what is on the SS dial; for instance, the 1/60 setting can be tweaked between 1/40 and 1/100.

Yeah I know. Just doesn't feel like the real thing :(

That's the nature of the Internet these days. And I'll bet the vast majority of those complaining were never going to buy the camera anyway.

"The new camera doesn't bring world peace and cure COVID-19? Nah. That's dealbreaker for me. Fuji needs to listen to us!"
They want all these high end features in a midrange camera. The days of volume sales with low margins are long gone.

Ouch ... they took away the back dial on the X-E4. Selfie screen instead. No word on weather sealing, but highly unlikely - so, not holding my breath.

What *does* look very interesting is the GFX100S - size/spec ratio is very interesting ... If the rumored price range holds, it may turn into quite a hit.

@serhan Thanks for posting this!

After digesting the current rumor sites postings, and taking into account these are still rumors and we don't know everything yet...

X-E4. Not for me. Even less useable controls (for me) than the X-E3, which had less than the X-E2. Moving the Q button to the top plate solves the issue of my arthritic thumb knuckle randomly activating the Q menu. Again with the lower eyepoint EVF, not a good thing for me. No mention of WR. No IBIS.

GFX-100S. Amazing how they've been able to downsize everything into a package slightly smaller than the 50R. However, I wonder how much slower than the GFX-100 the 100S is going to be in use, seeing as it uses the X-T4 battery (lower voltage). Good eyepoint, but lower res EVF (same specs as 50R). Traditional Fuji way of operating reduced again on this camera. This is the 4th GFX body, and now a 4th way of operation. Maybe I've missed them, but not seeing images of the back of the camera.

I realize Fuji is trying to bring in shooters from other systems, but they are really starting to design cameras that are beginning to not appeal to some who have been with Fuji since the early years. Based on my needs, and the current design trends, I may not be buying any more new Fuji bodies going forward. I may be using my current ones until they cannot be repaired (or repaired for a reasonable price).

The new 27 will be a purchase - it'll make my X-H1 as small as possible for a walk-around camera that fits my hand, with controls that I can just barely use, in a WR package with IBIS.

It looks like Leica SL2 size and price though evf is lower 3.6M dots....

Back of 100S looks like X-S10....
