When I saw the name of this, and the description, calling it blueberry ripple I was doubtful that I would it. Very pleasantly surprised however :)

Does the hansome pussy cat enjoy a tipple as well :)

Yep - I have had to keep an eye on that, as some of them are very "refreshing"! I am not sure but one was 10.2%,, But I could have imagined that after a 8.2%. I don't why they are brewing at such high alcohol %, unless flavour is associated with that?
About as much flavour as Gold Label/ Special Brew/ Tennants Extra I'd imagine :laugh1:

Timothy Taylor? Old Speckled Hen? Never knew those made it to the other side of the planet.

Love a good English ale. Had them plenty of times at my local in Cambridge and bought a few bottles/cans in NZ when I returned home; UK imports seemed to be big before the NZ micro-brewery scene kicked into high gear. These came via my beer-club which has mostly been NZ, AU, US micro-breweries with the odd smattering of stuff from elsewhere (mostly Europe). Waiting for Theakstons 'Old Peculiar' to make an appearance in a beer-club box... thats an old favourite.

I wonder how many can you drink in one shooting :drinks:

These days I can only take one or two pints in a sitting. Maybe three over 4-5 hours. Learning to pace myself is something older me would like to have taught younger me
At the moment its one beer-club beer a week - mostly posted in the m43 forum beer thread on a weekly basis. Over here, I tend to save them up and splurge a couple of months beers in one post :drinks:
