Hi,

I was pointed in the direction of this forum by my long time friend Bobby (thanks brother - I owe you a cawfee!) as a great and friendly community.
I live in North Herefordshire, UK, on the border of England and Wales (known as the Marches country).
I love to go walking whenever possible and you can usually find me rambling around with one of my trusty Olympus cameras in hand.

I've an arsenal of Olympus equipment, mainly Four Thirds lenses and bodies and have recently bought myself an O-MD E-M1 mkII so am on a mirrorless learning curve at the moment.

Looking forward to being a part of this vibrant site - thanks for letting me join!

Cheers,
Kaz aka Turbogirlie.

Hi Kaz, welcome! You live in a gorgeous part of the country (I know ’cos I lived there for 4 years) so I look forward to seeing some great images 🙂

Hi Martin,

Thanks - Cheshire isn't so bad a place to live either - you have some fantastic countryside on your doorstep also and easy access to Snowdonia, the Lake District and the Peak District - not envious at all!

Welcome, Kaz :) looking forwards to seeing some of your ways of seeing the world through your lenses. I myself only have two Olympus cameras currently, a Pen F and a spritely semi-ancient E-P3... but I can't help wondering: if you possess an arsenal of Olympus bodies, is the plural Olympuses... or Olympii?
Hi Miguel, Thanks for the warm welcome! Will have to Google the official term for this methinks... ;)

Hi Kaz

Welcome to the forum!

I have collected a lot of micro four thirds cameras (both Olympus and Panasonic) over the years and they have always been my favourite gear when travelling. You’ve made a great choice.

You’ll see that GAS is rife in Cameraderie. I wonder if that’s what makes us vibrant?!! Old or new, big or small, it doesn’t matter. We are interested in all cameras and we never get bored of photos so please do share.

Hello Kaz and welcome! Looking forward to your images and impressions of your part of the world.
I have just one Olympus, a slightly older model, but it doesn't bother me - love the image quality :)
