A sunken bridge. This is Caban Coch, a reservoir in the Elan Valley. When the levels are low enough, as they were in 2018, some of the structures reveal themselves. This little 'bridge' allowed the stream called Nant Gwyllt to flow into the Afon Elan. The walls to the left are the remains of the garden walls of the demolished house called Nant Gwyllt, owned by the poet Shelley for a time.

The Rea Aqueduct, Worcestershire. The first photo was taken 12th Feb 2012. This is a Grade II Listed structure. It was built to carry the Leominster - Stourport canal across the river Rea in the late 1790's. It is of historic importance as it was the largest single span of 43ft and carried canal boats for some 60 years before the railway took over. Reputed to have used 1 million bricks in the construction.
