I found it really quite intriguing that Barbie (yes, the infamous doll) had its debut on March 9 - a day after International Women's day.
However, when I started looking into this, I found it more intriguing than I would have thought. First, I stumbled over this - "as expected", really.
But then I moved on and found this:
(btw. that one is hers as well - just so you know ...)
And I assure you it only got more divers from there on ... I'm not really into a lot of the takes on this, but it seems to me that someone's really trying hard to change the message, the actual content as well as the perception, and it definitely does have an impact. So ... pretty impressive.
