This historic 1952 military aircraft - a Boeing KC-97 aka the "Flying Ambulance" - was used to transport casualties from the Korean War back to the West Coast of the United States. Today it is parked outside the Medford, Oregon airport - an imposing piece of airborne metal machinery that will fly no more. I happened to be driving past, saw it, and promptly pulled over to take a few photos.

Clearly the act of creating this thread exhausted my cognitive capacity and I forgot to post my own shot. This is an avant garde selfie from earlier at the end of three jammed zoom office hours. I thought I might give myself some zoomy "me" time.
