mu-43 refugees

Personally, I like that it’s not as gear-centric here, but we still have that avenue, should we wish for it. Let the photos do the talking!
I still want to find someone from Greece that can go to Tanagra and take some photos to show people where you come from. ;)
(I have thought about this since you joined µ43 and I thought you were from Greece.)
If there is someone from Greece reading this and is close enough to go to Tanagra and take some pictures I think it would be fun to show our friend Darmok how his home town looks like. :)

You mean Greece the planet or Greece the galaxy?

Hello everyone!

As of today I've given up on mu-43 and moved over to here... and then I find you lot have done the same! I've not posted anything on mu-43 for over 2 months now and I've missed sharing my photos.
me too.
as mu43 denied my access from my desktop to the website in early december last year, i have not posted anything since then…

I’m at 3817. I only have so much time to surf the forum. I’ll just hit “mark read” and get on with my life.
But I think the way the forum works, hitting "mark all read" will restart the threads you normally receive updates for, but which you've cleared without actually visiting. Those threads go "dark" till you catch up with them before they go back to notifying you, so marking all read tells them you're all caught up.

Correct, "Mark forums read" resets all of the thread settings to mark that you've read them. The alternative is go into a specific forum and then in the upper-right corner menu there is a "Mark read" option which marks only threads in that forum as 'read'. That way if the bulk of your unread threads are for a forum that you don't follow anyway you can mark that forum as 'read' to remove them from your count (and from showing up in "What's new") while leaving the rest of the forums unread.

That’s handy to know. I’ll admit my time using the forum is pretty well described as white water rafting. Speaking of which . . .
