Sony Sony LA-EA2 adapter for a-mount lenses on a NEX-5n

Thanks for the blog and video David!

How is the speed of the AF using the adapter compared to the AF of the A77?

Do you have the 24/2 Zeiss on the A-mount as well? I am wondering how it compares to the 24/1.8 Zeiss on the E-mount, assuming you have that too!

Thanks!

In "real world" use it seems (very) slightly slower and there's a kind of "double click" very reminiscent of m4/3, but its still very positive.

With the lenses, I have neither. The NEX lens isn't out yet, and I'm not sure I can afford the a-mount. Doesn't usually stop me I know, but it seems I've got a GX1 to find the money for now!!

Just sell a few more photos and you will be ready for that GX1!

Don't forget to post some photos from your NEX5N and A77 in this site. :) I'm sure the A77 still qualifies as a "small" DSLR!

Speaking of which, how is the resolution and DR of the A77 compared to the A850 at base ISO?

Is quite light, though I'm not sure its strictly small.

The A77 compares very well for both, which is remarkable considering the smaller sensor.
