Fuji Ghosthunter gets an X10!!!

Great stuff and congratulations. I just got mine this morning, which was a surprise as I was told the shop was expecting delivery on the 20th! I am getting my head around those darn Fuji menus again, which seem a little improved over the F30's but not that much! Handling is nice, but for the life of me I can't work out how to turn off the LCD display. We shall see how it plays out over the next few weeks.

Thanks very much all. Weather here is dull dull dull but I'll see what I can do to get some pics up soon. So far I have just done a very quick set up and taken a few quick shots in the office which have turned out very well. The good news is that it has the same USB socket as the G3 so i can use the same lead to download the images which saves a USB socket on the iMac being used. Also although the camera isn't that small it makes my G3 seem quite a big camera!! The X10 just feels SO nice and high quality plus it looks SO good!!! Oh happy days!

(y) That was faster than I'd expected - congratulations, Andy!

I will add that I do enjoy hearing and seeing everyone's impressions of and with this new little X file camera.

It was just a bit of luck actually as we had another 4 delivered which meant we had a few spare. I was offered one at a remarkable price and I just could not say no. Also we have had a reduction in price of the super fast Sandisk Extreme HD Video 8GB cards so i bought one of those also.

HAPPY DAYS! :dance3:

Archiver, report back in and let us know how you're doing - Andy won't mind if all the new X10 folks share his exclamatory thread.:D

Well I've finally got my X10 !
The battery is charging away and my initial reaction is sheer delight. It's the first camera I've bought without handling first.
The build looks as good as the X100 and no dust specks in the lens or viewfinder.
It has all the heft of my old Canon G9 and the OV is every bit as effective and clear as those on my Leicas X1 and Dluxe 4 for which I paid in excess of £200 each.

I handled one of the new Nikons the other day and although its fast tracking seems wonderful I couldn't believe how cheap it felt ; a bit like my Sony A55.

I've too many cameras but what I really want is an X10 with an APS-c sensor

Well done Nippa

I have just taken my 1st proper (ish) series of images from my back garden and the results are really pleasing. I need to sit down and work out the EXR stuff as i can't get it to take 3 shots and then murge? Still have lots to learn but i think it will be awesome in my little studio with EXR modes sorted. Can't wait!!

Congratulations, nippa! We'll be looking forward to your pictures and reactions once you and your X10 have gotten to know each other.

Andy, flysurfer seems to have a very good grasp of the whole EXR thing. I'm sure he'd be happy to help.
