No one answered, so I don't know why they moved to a mixed neighborhood.
This is a thread of "Signs". This one is handmade, but I thought it would be okay. What the heck?
The picture is surely OK, but the people putting up the sign can be questioned! This is a thread of "Signs". This one is handmade, but I thought it would be okay.
yes... as a 'sign' fitting into the thread of course it's okay. This is a thread of "Signs". This one is handmade, but I thought it would be okay.
Yes, I was going to ask why they moved HERE - into a mixed neighborhood. There are plenty of places where their sign would not be needed. But they chose to buy this little house. Interesting.yes... as a 'sign' fitting into the thread of course it's okay.
I am questioning the content of what's written on the sign
I salute you Sir!Yes, I was going to ask why they moved HERE - into a mixed neighborhood. There are plenty of places where their sign would not be needed. But they chose to buy this little house. Interesting.
Actually, they may have looked as I approached and decided not to open the door. I am black, and that might not work with the sign. I'll have a white friend ask.I salute you Sir!
That shows courage!
Walter, ignorance is everywhere, and generally unconquerable.Actually, they may have looked as I approached and decided not to open the door. I am black, and that might not work with the sign. I'll have a white friend ask.
Not courage as much as trying for a "teachable moment". I can listen courteously to almost any stupid drivel and still try to elevate the conversation. Kind of proud of how far I have come since my Black Panther days.
Generally, but not always. And the few "conversions" tend to become powerful beacons of light. Malcolm X springs to mind also.Walter, ignorance is everywhere, and generally unconquerable.
John Steinbeck's "Travels with Charlie" springs to mind.
