Greetings,
This site was mentioned and recommended to me by a friend and has also had numerous mentions over at the mu43 forum, of which I’ve been a member at for a few years, so I took a look. It looks like a great site and I look forward to being here.

A brief background... I did the associate program in film photography at a local community college back in the very late 90s then..... took an apprenticeship as an HVAC tech. With the exception of a couple of subpar digital point and shoots to photograph family stuff, photography was shelved entirely for a number of years. A few years ago my interest was rekindled and I was quickly frustrated by whatever outdated cell phone(s) I had at the time, which eventually led me to buy a Panasonic GX85 setup. I’ve have had a fun and occasionally frustrating time getting back into photography and hope to continue learning for years to come.

Thanks for having me
Glen

Welcome over, Glen. You'll find quite some refugees from mu-43.

@Glennn
HI AND WELCOME ABOARD.
So glad you’ve joined a happy site… even the banter here seems livelier. I recall the caliber of y9ur photography and I’m looking forward lots of gret images.
Enjoy your time here.

Looking forwards to seeing some of your photos, Glen - and welcome!
with regards to possible frustrations, you might want to metaphorically apply something Thelonius Monk, the jazz pianist, is once supposed to have said: "there are no bad notes." Photographically speaking, the process of taking or trying to take photographs can yield a wide variety of results and each of us is different so we tend to see things different - so if one is able to bear that in mind, instead of being frustrated by 'results', sometimes it's easier to see the whole thing as a personal process.
And the GX85 is (still!) a great tool with which to explore one's vision.
