Would love to see a pic of that attached to the camera. Looks quite the sensational beast.

@rayvonn

With my other X-H1 + battery grip. Sits flat with the tripod foot at the bottom. Kinda big for Fuji, but inline with other 200/2 lenses. Not as heavy as one would think. Like all 200/2 lenses, big chunk of glass.

Have become rather fond of my Skopar 28mm F3.5. Well over 50% of what you see here, which is tiny as it is, is taken up by rear/front caps and lens hood, the lens itself really is minuscule.

I know exactly what you mean. I've got the 21mm f3.5 and it is a tiny, gorgeous, gem. I'll have to take some pics of it soon. These are a joy to use for the size and tactile feel aren't they?

Good Evening,

This kit has been with me for nearly 50 years and keeps on ticking (okay, clicking). Through war and peace, it always puts a smile on the face that is in the viewfinder...:)

Regards,

Edd

Same as mine, by the look of it, Edd. Lovely camera.

I had mine fully serviced in the early 2000s. Shutter lubrication had stopped lubricating ...

[Edit] Mine's actually a 2.8f, so slightly different in some way. [End edit]

Hi John,

The E model uses the Xenotar lens as well as the Planar (I have the Planar in f2.8); also the F model has an extra coating (early multi-coating?). Note that the E model has a dual range non-coupled meter (the E2 and E3 models had no meter) while the F has a coupled meter.

Regards,

Edd

Thanks, Edd. I was wondering what the actual differences were.
