Fuji Viltrox 85mm 1.8 Mark II on Fujifilm XT 2.

I picked up a Fujifilm XT 2 last week and it did not have a lens. I bought an adapter and used my Nikon lenses with MF but I found a great deal on a used Viltrox Mark II 85mm f 1.8. Because I am new to Fujifilm, we had a little setback since I had the camera set on MF and finally found the control on the front and set it to C, and voila, autofocus! The Viltrox is very fast focusing, and very bright and this image shows how sharp it is and accurate on focus. One of my rescue dogs in her sunbeam. Her name is Sissy.

Still playing with the new lens. I went into my garage and found a willing model for some shots.

I’ve been rather impressed with the Viltrox lenses. Had a 24/1.8 for Nikon Z-mount until my 28/2.8 SE arrived.

Really liked the performance all around. Biggest weakness was the distortion in the corners.

That 85mm looks very good as well.

In Picture 4, that wheel holding the belt mechanism, is starting to fall apart. There are stress fractures in the metal. I would get that looked into before it develops into something very expensive.
Just got the car back from my Porsche mechanic. He did a bunch of electrical replacements, mainly switches, and did a tune up. He inspected the fan and shroud and found that it was not having any stress. It did have a scratch or two and some metal burnishing which came from the owner, me, trying to clean up the oxidation with a Dremel tool.
