That's why I don't use public swimming pools, Paul ... .

Just joking. The real reason is that my heart and lungs cannot tolerate the chlorine in the air, and my skin doesn't like the high levels of chlorine in the water - a completely necessary thing with public swimming pools.

Our own pool is tiny, about 9x4m, so is useless for lap swimming. Great for doing gentle exercises though. It is salt chlorinated, and open air. The only time I'm truly out of pain is when immersed up to my neck. It's pure bliss.

Anyway, your photo is wonderful. Fungi are quite amazing. An estimated 2.4 million species, of which about 1.4 million have so far been described.

Two more 65:24 versions of some local landscapes I shot this morning, here in southern Oregon, of the newly-plowed fields of a local farmer. With two different perspectives, looking across the same field, but in different directions.
