The Redheaded Ducks are still hanging around. As we get into mating season they seem to be dropping their guard around people. A few weeks ago I couldn't have gotten this close to them. In this shot, two nice, caring males appear to be making sure this female is walked home safely...

Here is a male Redhead paddling by me like I wasn't there. He looks to be daydreaming about something.

Pretty sure this is a Carolina Wren. A permanent but rarely seen resident around here. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Maxxum 5D, Kalimar 1.4 TC, and 70-210/4 Beercan.

Room with a view. A very small pond I love to shoot at where no one goes with a variety of birds all around it.

Fantails. Cute and they make swallows look slow and clumsy.

So a small pond that offers so much. All the best your way.

Sir. You live the dream and you make some of the most amazing images I have seen. I would like to call you Senpai from today onwards.

A few more from my walk in the snow a few days ago. I think the 2nd bird is a Dunnock, I've never seen one of those before at my favorite birding spot.
