Yeah... But that's in Australia where everything is poisonousIn general, I completely agree, mate.
However, accidental contact becomes very real when we share our environment with them.
A little boy died here a few months ago from a redback spider bite. First fatality here in some 40+ years.
That should last him about a month!
Having already paralysed the insect, when I took this picture the spider was rolling the insect over and over, encasing it in silk. Hence the position of the legs and its butt. Next job would be to inject with venom (?) again to liquify the insides prior to eating it and cutting it free. Both insects were gone and the web repaired about four hours later.That should last him about a month!
