Some more from Dalston in London. Great place for looking for interesting faces and diversity.

Aim low, fly high :p

How are you shooting these with the X100 Ad? I mean, hyperfocal/ AF/ EVF/ OVF etc. I intended to use it like a RF but always went back to AF/EVF.
Only AF, mostly using the OVF if I have some time and often using the LCD for quick grab shots; these grab shots are often failures, the best shots come out when I have just that little bit more time. Focus mode is almost always AF-C and moving the focus point to the desired location; tracking isn't very effective unless the target is high contrast. I take care to have the focus point centered for the next photo opportunity, so I know where it is without looking. I think I'll develop better skills with AF in the coming months. A 23mm lens has quite some depth of field even at wide apertures, so very precise focus target selection is often unnecessary in my experience.

Only have used MF occasionally and then I use the AF-ON button to set the focus, so far I didn't bother to use focusing aids like magnifying, peaking etc.
