A photo:My Stressless ergonomic armchair and footstool just arrived.
It's bliss ... ...
Photos will follow.
I can definitely recommend them at this stage, Gordo.
Stressless is one of the recliners I'm considering to replace my current recliner when it wears out.
I can definitely recommend them at this stage, Gordo.
After nearly 20 hours of ownership ... .
After trying one, I opted to avoid the ones with the built-in, motorised foot rest. The separate footstool is easy to walk around, or move out of the way with my foot. It's not "perpetually in the way" as these things tend to be.
Appreciate, Gordo. Totally agree, and the first thing the salesman (store manager) said to us.Biggest issue I have with recliners is that most aren't the correct size for my body. One that fits makes a huge difference in comfort. Not sure if they make one my size, will be doing more research starting later this year.
You're right, of course. However, if it comes to usable (for me!) backpacks, I only have the one, and it's definitely on the small side ...@MoonMind Matt, like many of us, I've got so many bags lying around that it's almost certain that at least one will fit whatever kit I've put together ...
There are a couple that I can't even think why I bought them in the first place!
Best one I ever bought was a TStar, on sale for about AUD 18 ...You're right, of course. However, if it comes to usable (for me!) backpacks, I only have the one, and it's definitely on the small side ...

At least some models have manually adjustable headrests, David.Stressless chairs are nice, we had one several years ago. The only thing we didn't like is the head part was not adjustable. Great for relaxing, but not when we want to read, watch TV, etc.
Several years was really an understatement. We probably bought it 20 years ago. Somewhere I have pictures of our cats as kittens in the chair, they're almost 15 now.At least some models have manually adjustable headrests, David.
I think mine adjusts somewhat, automatically. I will have to check.
{Edit} I just checked. The headrest does adjust automatically as the chair reclines. {End edit}
They do come in a fairly wide variety of prices here.
Hope springs eternal.Current desire, Nikon release the Z8 for a nice price so more people will sell their Z7IIs.
Let me give you a hand with that:I got a hankering for the Sigma 56mm, f/1.4 for m4/3 and the Fujifilm X-pro2.
I tried the X-T5 and will again. REALLY like the 2 way tilting LCD. I do a lot of off-angle shooting, so that's great. Didn't like the grip when holding it up to my eye.I just noticed the Nikon Z5 is $996 body only and $1296 with the Z 24-50. I’m tempted. Of course, the way this usually works is that I will resist buying the Z5 and give into buying the Fuji XT5.
The 2-way tilt is genius and far more useful than I anticipated. It becomes really noticeable when I use the X-T20 with it's 1-way tilt just how useful it is.I tried the X-T5 and will again. REALLY like the 2 way tilting LCD. I do a lot of off-angle shooting, so that's great. Didn't like the grip when holding it up to my eye.
