Leica L-Mount cameras and lenses
My first post with a new to me S5 and 85.
LR's conversion looks pretty nice. Camera neutral with a dash of saturation.
The 85 has a nice blend of sharpness and smoothness.

Some horsey pics from Peper Harow Point to Point. This is near Elstead in Surrey. Took the Q2 and got some nice pics with it but thought to take the SL2s and 50mm Summilux ASPH (M). These were zone focus (sort of). I was trying to get a decent aperture together with fast enough speed and pre focussing at the jump. This is why they are not well framed! Anyway, it's all a bit of an experiment ;)

Just messing about in the garden, trying to decide whether to take the 50mm Summilux or Zeiss 50mm 1.5 Sonnar on holiday with me ...

One pic at 2.4 and the next at 4. Both the Sonnar btw. Not as much Chromatic aberration as I thought there might be in this instance.

That's the combo I'd be going for as my first entry into L mount. Then adding a couple of other I series lenses.
I do like the i-series lenses. Really nice build and great performance. If I hadn’t already bought the Panasonic 50/1.8, I’d get the Sigma 50/2. Nothing wrong with the performance of the Panasonic lens, but it just doesn’t feel as good as the Sigma.
