Testing my camper trailer behind my Subaru Forester on Halifax Road, near Gembrook. The single lane dirt track is about 30⁰ down then up, over a total of about 2,200m. 85 kmh in low range, second gear, and the car managed it both ways without any problem at all. The trailer weighed about 700 Kgs.

It's steeper than it looks!

This is a path cut through Runcorn Hill in Cheshire.
It's the site of the old sandstone quarry, prized at one time for the quality of the stone, which was exported all over the world and was used to build the docks in New York and San Francisco, as well as various other locations as far afield as Australia.

This photo was taken recently, where you can see the path has been improved to give access to wheelchairs and pushchairs etc. and 'Peter Pan' bridge has been modernised too.

This photo is from 2009, showing what the original path and previous bridge looked like.
I must have walked this route hundreds of times as I grew up living a short way on from the bridge, and the path was the shortest route to the town park.

Here you can see some of the remaining sandstone cliffs.
