Grip for big stuff
Think you'll find the idea is offer more secure and steady hand hold when working with long telphoto lenses, especially if it offers good AF with original 4/3 lesnes like the 150mm f2 etc which are substantial in size and weight.

Just out of curiosity: What's the point of the grip? I mean is it really just a grip or does it add some functionality to the cam (except 'gripability' of course ).
I mean why have both a grip and a battery grip when the whole functionality could have been archived with just the latter?
