50:50 - 50 days with only a 50mm

I lack discipline and I like LITERAL focal lengths, so maybe I'll do five days with the 5mm lens in the GRD3... Or 7.5 with the Samyang m43 fisheye. Or 9 days with the wide end of the 9-18. But my absolute limit would be 12 days with the Olympus 12 because I enjoy using that lens almost enough to actually pick it up everyday for 12 days. But only if I spend another month in NYC or some other interesting place next year. No way I'm shooting every day for even a week just hanging around my home town...

:)

I had that sort of sense at one time too. I've worked at seeing things differently and have found plenty to shoot. It does largely depend on what you like to shoot, and for some things you need to be in a place with lots of fodder.

I do like the idea of imposing limitations though, even for a short time. It can create new ways of looking at the world, and new ways of using the tools at hand; gear, light etc.

A friend of mine once gave a small square out of which I was supposed to make a few pictures, I didn't take the challenge and joked my way out of it, I was wrong of course, there is always something that can be done in the smallest area, it just needs to be explored I guess.
