FAQ: Uploading Images at Cameraderie Photography Forum

Uploading images is pretty easy and you have several different options of how to do it!

Before we go into the details, here are a few things to know...

  • Images posted to Cameraderie are cached when possible. Caching images is common for most community sites and is done for several reasons. The exact method used for caching is subject to change and may be implemented using different methods. (Cameraderie Terms and Rules)
    • Help the pages load faster.
    • Allow the EXIF (if any) to be displayed.
    • Prevents the Photobucket scenario where a service provider unexpectedly changes their policies.
  • All images, included cached instances, are resized to save space.
  • Images are resized to be no bigger than a maximum of 1600x1600 pixels.
