I know you feel a bit down about it today Kathy, but it's still a good picture of the cat - the textures of fur, fleece blanket and herringbone couch along with the contrast of dark and light with glowing highlights works.
And you were complaining about having to just use a picture of the cat?!?!??! Archie is devilishly handsome - are you sure he's not "a familiar"? If this is a bad day for you, I'd say - have more of them! The lighting is wonderful and his eyes are spectacular, Kathy. This is not "just a cat picture" by any means.
