thanks guys I had a get-together with a group of friends so it wasn't too hard to stay up, and I'm a real night person anyway, my preferred rhythm is to get up at 10 or 11 and stay up till 2 or 3 in the morning...

I put the left side of the camera on the ground for some stability and tried to hold the handgrip steady, but with this being an 8-second exposure there was bound to be some camera shake...
