Aha, that's how kite flying is done these days! I like your framing very much with the juxtapositions and colors...and keeping that part of the tree in there was just right!
It was about 10ºC. It's humid though and feels colder and most buildings don't have heat (including where I was working today). I'll actually feel warmer when I take my annual holiday to see the family in Canada in a couple of weeks. As for the light..... don't feel too jealous. We don't get it often. The pollution levels are ridiculous and there is always a haze of brown in the air. A good day here would send Toronto into a panic.
