Having braced myself against the wind, I waited for a very short lull and shot this. It's the WWI War Memorial here in Govan backed by one of my favourite buildings, The Pearce Institute.
Aye, it's a wee alcove at the side of the pavement. I could have added some colour by including the poppy wreaths which are renewed throughout the year but they lie at the base of the memorial so it was a bit awkward.
