SIJ2016 - typical dutch

I was about to make a smart-ass comment base on your title, like: "no, to be typically dutch, the road should have been a channel and the tress a wind-mill. Them started wondering about the huge nr of things for which the Netherlands are know for (wind-mills, channels, bikes, coffee-shops, tulips, gay marriage, etc) and it is remarkable for a relatively small country.

I have a lot of days to go. By bike of course. But I avoid the water in this time of the year. Coffee shops only when they serve only coffee ;-)

I like the rich green against the starkness of the trees and hedges.
