Nice composition and the big aperture also creates a sense of depth in the image.

@jssaraiva Thanks, I did try other apertures but surprisingly (to me), the image with the wider aperture stood out a bit more.

@MoonMind Thanks, I still had the sharpness cranked up in camera though - this image may well have been better without that so I'm going to get it down to its normal level on hot days like this to see what it gives me.

@rayvonn That's not that visible at web size - but I see what you mean in the harsher transitions; one's got to know it's there to actually see it, though.

Nice composition - I'd be tempted to pull a bit more detail out of the shadows but that's me.

@bilzmale yeah I know, with so much aggressive light, this was a hard one. I did have a uwa with me though and so also took a raw picture which I took time editing & posted on Flickr.
