My restrictions are, Olympus 17mm f1.8, aspect ratio 3:2, straight out of camera jpegs, absolutely no post processing of any kind. Shot on the walk back from work in shutter priority mode, 1/320, f2.2, low iso 100 with Vivid colour.
Additional comment: Of course if I was shooting raw, I'd just lower the exposure level a bit and bring out what needs to be enhanced in PP but to be honest, I'm finding getting the right mix a bit hard in camera.
I admire you for sticking to your self imposed limitations. Still, I think you should revisit this one outside the purpose of this challenge. I believe that with a squarish crop, cropping out the front facing people on the left an the right, you'd have a stronger image. Only the man in the middle, and the carried child would face the viewer in a mass of people facing the other way.
@marlof thanks, yes, there is a subsequent shot where he is closer in, plus I've already done a few seat edits of this image in b&w applying Fuji film processing effect. Definitely a work in progress.
